Description: Site-specific adaptations are developed to accommodate environmental and site characteristics, number and type of personnel, layout and number of electronic equipment, and HAZMAT abatement requirements at each site. Site adaptations are typically contracted by the regional office responsible for modernizing the facility. Contracting options include a competitive request for offer, sole source, or use of the national omnibus A&E contract. The product is a bid-ready facility design package containing drawings, design data handbook, and construction cost estimate.
